Hi all,
I seemed to have added an invalid routing entry and hosed up my ability to properly use ipfire.
It is off network right now and benched. I am directly connected and am having issues getting rid of the ip route entries i added.
After reboot, they come right back.
Can someone help me get rid of these, as I can’t find docs on how to do it from command line

Did you add them from Network > Static routes ? data should be in /var/ipfire/main/routing

Perhaps this will help.
There are times when I need to administer IPFIRE when there are no other PCs in convenient range (there are only secure servers in the room with the IPFIRE system).

Is this possible? Is there a browser that can be run from the console?
It’s probably not ideal, but it would save a lot of leg work.
TIA

SSH access ( not necessarily enabled )
Console access ( depending on the system per serial connection and/or monitor/keyboard ). This should be operational in every case. Physical access to the IPFire HW is necessary
Both cases let one access the system from the shell.
Apart from the basic configuration with setup you can access the WUI with the el…

Hello Shaun and Paul. I decided to try out another firewall solution. Its not a matter of me getting in IPFire at this time. I scrapped my config and started over on the new solution.
Thanks for getting back to me tho. I appreciate that.
