Although cu167 fixed some things, the issue still remains.
I created in Proxmox a VM (monit), told it to get ip from the host network (vmbr0) but unbound was not informed. Proxmox kinda hung up (“Unknown State”) b/c it could not resolve the name monit.
To fix, I logged on to ipfire and issued my 3 line script to restart DHCP and unbound; Proxmox got out of the “Unknown State”.
