This workaround is doing the fix!
finaly we need to figure out the problem and fix it the right way!

i think the problem is solved with the wio.cgi tested by Odon Garma.
Will post the patch to fix this small display bug.

For the records.
It is a display problem, originating in the false determination of network for 8.8.8.8 ( for example ).
Is this fixed with the patch?
Yes, this is fixed with the patch.
Why does the false determination of network occur for some systems but not for others.
Also the results for the fix shown by @odongarma results in a white network icon. Why does it end up with a white icon instead of a red icon when the network is an external one coming via the red interface. I would have expected it to show up red, which is what it does on my system.

The original fix from @anon2595834 is showing the example host with a Red icon as INTERNET.
The hotfix eq. Workaround from @anon79392304 is showing up with a white icon.
so, i think this is fixed!
I send him a patched wio.cgi to test for me to locate the problem …
