The addon author has not been responding to questions for a year or more and recently asked to be deleted from all IPFire communications.
I have agreed to pick up support for this addon, to the best of my ability, aided and supported by the core devs.
Please raise this issue as a bug in the IPFire bugzilla.

I would just suggest adding the pictures you have in the thread as attachments in the bug report so they are more directly available.

After the update to Core 165, this error is back (again)… is this true???
A fix patch has not yet been submitted so there is a high probability that the lines you commented out have been uncommented again. You would have to check the wio.pl file to see if the upgrade reverted your edits.
…thats the point… they “are” uncommented again…
Well that can happen when an update is carried out.
I am hopeful that I will be able to submit a patch in time for CU166 and if it is accepted then the change for the fix will be permanent.
