I have a strange situation.
I need to assist (system admin) serveral win 10 PC outside the LAN.
They work over ipsec road warrior.
If a client from outside try to connect (by means of remote desktop) to a PC or a server inside the LAN, everything goes. Works.
But when I try to connect from LAN (by means of remote desktop) a clients outside for admin pouposes, it make negotiation, connect but immediately drop down vpn connection on the client.
I getting crazy…
I HAVE FOUND THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM:
When I try to connett to remote PC ouside the lan, I use remote desktop with administrator profile.
So It implies a swith of user in the client. That’s the problem.
If you switch the active (and connected) user of the PC, the SO closes immediately the VPN connection for security reason.
SO, NOW I KNOW THE PROBLEM BUT I HAVEN’T A DEFINITIVE SOLUTION.
What I can do is connect myself with the user account and later manage configuration inserting all the time admin credentials.
I don’t want ask password to people… but I haven’t found different solutions.
