Web Proxy & URL Filtering issues

I enablad web proxy and url filtering but it act strange.

1.no Official Ipfire Blocking Page is displayed. instead showing generic error page.

2.catagories block section doesnt block anything. doesnt work. websites must been blocked only in custom blacklist otherwise its not blocking.

3.when i set any block setting and press “ Save and restart” so the ipfire WUI get crashed

To use the URL filter with https sites, you must use a non-hidden proxy, or you must implement these rules:

Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol (WPAD) / Proxy Auto-Config (PAC)

Once the URL filter is enabled, prohibited https sites will display an unreachable screen.

i did enabled the non-hidden proxy, and set the proxy address and port correctly on the client side.

1. This is normal behavior with HTTPS; the block page only appears for HTTP.
2. The list must be updated first before it can be used.
