WAN Connection from Green and Orange at once

Hey, hey :v:

VM Clients and Vm Server in the orange network can reach each other and are connected to WAN. Physical Clients on Green can not get connected to the WAN, generating some APIPA adress. If only the green network is used, they can. Getting some IP by dhcp.

Orange and green can not connect to the internet at once. I don’t know what’s wrong and how to fix it. :see_no_evil:. Can anybody help? Greetings Dennis

How do you connect your GREEN and ORANGE networks to IPFire?
How are the networks configured ( IPs )?

Hello Bernhard,

thanks for your reply.

Green 10.255.227.254/24 Proxy OFF

Orange 172.16.227.254/24

Red DHCP GW 192.168.1.1/24
Blue deactivated

I suppose GREEN and ORANGE are not physically connected.

I did some bad mistake. It works to get connected to the internet from orange and green simultaneously. But only when the proxy (green) is off. But it would be great to be able to use the proxy for both… Arrgh.

The third entry/line did it.

I can’t see a reason, why you must allow ORANGE in the proxy which handles GREEN and/or BLUE.
There must be some other error in your system.
Once more, how are the networks physically connected?
