I have setup DBL with URL Filter and it seems to be working. However, I am not seeing all the DBL Categories. I have it set for automatic update, and I have manually selected update now. As you can see in the image, I am missing ads, porn and violence.
[Edit]: Well, I found some broken links in /var/ipfire/urlfilter/blacklists. So, I completely blew away the contents of that directory and did another update. Now all the categories are showing as desired.

what symlinks have been around? Maybe this is something we need to fix?
I believe they were legacy from university Toulouse blocklist as there were foreign language links between the English and other language – I suppose French
Okay, this is a bug then. I reported it to @stevee:
Had the same issue. After deleting the symlinks all categories downloaded fine. Then I wanted to switch back to the univ. Toulouse lists, but they didn’t download at all and the IPF DBL directories where still in /var/ipfire/urlfilter/blacklists after tried to download Toulouse. Thought I mentioned it here, might be related.
