Unable to configure proxy authentication

Hi Team,

I need to secure the proxy with username password. When i enabled the authentication option with Local/LDAP. After saving and restart the proxy from the webgui, all the authentication related configuration options are disappeared
and there is no change related to authentication in the squid.conf file as well.
IPfire version 2.29

If you enable local and restart the proxy and reload the webgui again you should see a new button with user management. Here you can create user and save your configuration. Or what is here the issue?

Check system log files in the IPFire to see any error or warning related information which indicate the root cause of error.
