Squid ipfire internet cache

Would really like to have a bot at a specific time. Download a website. Fetching the page. 1-5 links deep. I know squid does caching but my Linux knowledge isn’t that deep.

Not my idea. Microsoft has this technology since win2000 Isa (internet server acceleration).

Would be nice to have this again ready for me. I set a timer every morning a bot fetches before I wake up.

squid already does such caching like the isa server but it works only with http.

The now for security and privacy reasons used https is not cacheable at all because it use an encrypted channel between the browser and the webserver.
