I do not mind reminders about excellent stuff going on, but this is a bit over the top.
7 mails in less than half an hour…
There was a problem with the mailman list system yesterday where it was crashing constantly.
After a lot of work it was brought back up again. I suspect that what you are experiencing (me also) is likely to be a consequence of yesterdays issue.
I am sure it will get resolved as quickly as possible.
Edit:
The cause has been found and stopped and a note added to the blog post.
