Welcome to the IPFire community.
The commit for that change was made in 2020 and I have checked and it is in the kernel version that is used in Core Update 189.
I have also checked the kernel module settings and R8169 (which now also supports 8125B) is set to m, which means if it is required by hardware that you are using then the module will be automatically loaded.
