RPI4 B onboard WIFI HT and VHT Caps

Hi,

may somebody know and tell me the HT and VHT caps for the RP4 B onboard WIFI adapter please? So I canit with hostapd as an access point?

Thx in advance.

Tried that: 802.11ac 5Ghz wifi AP in RPI 3 B+ · Issue #2619 · raspberrypi/linux · GitHub

Auto channel never worked. Also the power limitation had no effect. After setting up a fixed channel it worked, but after a few minutes of work I’m just getting the same kernel error every time:

|15:07:57|kernel: |ieee80211 phy0: brcmf_run_escan: error (-52)
|15:07:57|kernel: |ieee80211 phy0: brcmf_cfg80211_scan: scan error (-52)

and Wireless log errors:

Also I wonder about the error messages with 802.11a and 802.11g. The device is set up to use 802.11ac.

Would it be possible to see this parameters in an other OS like raspbian how they are handling it?

In openwrt forums i found for the RPI 4 B:

option htmode ‘HT20’

I found some undervoltage warnings in the kernel log so I tried a larger power supply. Surprisingly it works now.

Country code must be US.
