Redirect Dynamic DNS URL to Local IP

I’m trying to run a dedicated server using my Dynamic DNS URL to resolve IP. The problem is that (at least with a Minecraft Server) resolving the URL from within the local network is causing an IP collision making it so that I can’t connect to the server locally using the external IP resolved through DNS.

Is there a way to set up IP Fire to resolve my URL to a local IP for clients under the LAN? Will it break the Dynamic DNS service from being able to update my external IP when it changes?

Edit: My understanding is that the ‘Edit Hosts’ page is supposed to enable this functionality but it doesn’t appear to work. Using the ‘ping’ command within Windows still resolves to the external IP even after /flushdns
