Is this a file provided by ipfire? and what kinds of rules are given?
I have to provide iptables rules with a firewall file but I just saw that it already exists
Don’t edit this file!
This file converts the settings done in the WebGUI and load it to iptables.
For cutom rules use /etc/sysconfig/firewall.local and add the iptables rule to add and remove the user rules to start and stop section of this script. You should also use CUSTOMINPUT CUSTOMFORWARD and CUSTOMOUTPUT chains instead of the default chains to not mess up the GUI functions.
