Linux supports the QMI driver on the kernel; why is this not available in IPFIRE?
Is there any support for LTE EC25 series - Quectel, if not please, is there advice on how to add it
After installation, I can see the LTE modem, and also on the first setup, I can link this interface as red0, but after the reboot, the interface is lost and can’t any longer be used (i.e red0 interface not found)
any ideas?

Please check the mac address of the device. If this has changed (random) the device will not renamed to red0 after next boot. In this case you can change the name if the RED_DEVICE in /var/ipfire/ethernet/settings to usb0 (or whatever the default name is that the kernel assign)
Very odd, MAC address is the same on the /var/ipfire/ethernet. however it doesn’t show afterboot not even in dmesg
