my apologies for losing track of this issue.
Based on your reports and the log messages, I am getting the feeling this bug is related to the proxy cache. Below is a screenshot of the proxy configuration of an IPFire machine which has been running stable for years in this respect.
So, the interesting questions are:
- In which aspects does your proxy configuration differ?
- Does disabling the cache, or modifying any settings in the “cache management” section make a difference?
