Problem with access to Networkdrive under windows11 via VPN

Hi there,

i have a specific problem and I am not sure what is the cause and if this is related to the hardware firewall or the windows client. But I assume it is related to the windows firewall.
I want to access a network drive at university. In order to do that, i need to connect to a vpn. I do this by cisco annyconnect. This works out of the box.
I can surf the web, and the ip adress is successfully changed. When connceted to the VPN, I want to conncet to the network drive. This does not work. I receive the error message 0X80070043.
Do you have advice which firewall rules are connected to this issue and where I could check out logs that may help me to locate the problem further? I read online that this is may related to SMB-In, NB-Datagram-In, NB-Name-In, and NB-Session-In.

Well, when I put the ip of the server directly into the prompt, than in works?

If it works by IP and not FQDN then it is a DNS issue. It may be that you need to use the DNS servers of the remote LAN… One way round this is to use your hosts file to map the server to the IP.
