Hello, trying a new installation of core 189 to an old Pi 3B ver 1.2, using a USB Realtek dongle. That seems to work OK but there’s no sign of the onboard wireless device. I’ve actually got 2 identical Pis and they are behaving the same so I don’t believe there’s a hardware problem, plus if I boot into a Debian image the wireless works. Could it be a firmware issue?
@hobthrust You might try looking in a SSH terminal to see if the device is shown. Something like
lsusb
If the device is seen, you may be having the same issue I was having with CU189. You can read that thread here.

This issue (missing firmware files) should fixed in core190 (currently in testing tree)

I was about to say, I’ve just tested update 184 on there and it works as expected. Thanks for the update!
