I’m a noob user, but a recent update this year has changed how I’m able to connect clients to my OpenVPN server.
I used to follow the documentation here, and download a .zip file with the ca.cert, client.cert, & client.key
Now i’m only able to obtain a .ovpn file or a .p12 file for road warrior clients.
I was wondering why this was changed. I use Zorin OS for my workstation, and it’s always been quite idiot proof to set up with the separate files. The .ovpn file does not seem to have all the information that this script would use to extract my ca.cert, client.cert, & client.key.
In my experience, i’m usually doing something stupid, but there has been a recent change, so I was wondering how to obtain these separate files.
