OpenSSL version mismatch after update to 188

Hello,

I just updated from version 187 to version 188.

On reboot I read the following message:

“OpenSSL version mismatch. Built against 30200020, you have 30300020”.

I’d like to know if I have to do something, if something could not work for this mismatch…

Thanks in advance

Hi,

After 4 days and no answer I made another update on different machine (187 → 188).

The message is there in this one too.

Everything (firewall, openvpn) seems to be working but I’d appreciate if someone could take a look and make a reply.

Thanks in advance

I am sorry, we are very busy at the moment working together on a range of things.

It is on our list and will be dealt with.

It is a warning only and will not create a problem.

It is coming from the ntp startup but ntp is working fine.

Thanks a lot for the quick answer.

ntp will be shipped as part of CU189 to ensure it is linked to the correct version of openssl.

Many Thanks again…even if this “issue” was not a biggie you resolved it in a very professional way.
