Have you set up the SSH service?

I don,t have this active on my IPfire. normaly.

and I don’t remotely access it either. not sure you need to open ports.

default port in IPfire is 222

To access IpFire via SSH, you must allow this access in the IpFire configuration.

System->SSH Access->SSH Access (check the box)

There is no need to make a regular rule in the security policy
