You may need to turn on the Proxy in non-transparent mode. I’ve not done this myself, but it may work for you…
Have u tried Pihole? It’s great for blocking ads and trackers that are based on domains. Practically all ads are blocked for me and I added some blacklists with extra stuff.
IDK what exactly u mean by streaming ads.
