Maximising media mmcblk0p1

Guys, i’ve installed ipfire on 16GB micro sd card.

It seems that ipfire not utilising the whole 16GB.

Question, can i expand /dev/mmcblk0p1 to maximum so that ipfire will never running out space in future?

Thanks in advance

Hi @paktongkol,

The ExtraHD screen shows you the different partitions for your card but not what they are being used for.

Look under Status => Media

There you will find Disk Usage and you can see what the two partitions are being used for. I suspect you will find that 0p1 is being used for /boot and 0p3 is being used for / so the main part of IPFire is on partition 0p3 but you will be able to confirm this on the Media page.

You will also be able to see other information such as how much has been read from and written to the different partitions.

@bonnietwin, you are right. The /dev/mmcblk0p1 folder is for booting.

Main folder for ipfire is /dev/mmcblk0p3. There are still much space for ipfire logs i wish.
