Local Server On A Different Subnet Not Being Resolved

My IPFIRE PC is on 192.168.100.x
I have a server (server2k8) on 192.168.10.x subnet
When I login to my PC. it should have a drive mapped to the
\server2k8\data\nhenri (my home folder) but it does not get mapped
I added the following entry on the ipfire hostname
HOST IP 192.168.10.4
HOST NAME SERVER2k8
DOMAIN SPUNKYBOY.COM
Reboot my pc. No go!

How is your server connected to IPFire?
How are the networks ( green, blue, orange? ) defined?

( A network is defined by network address, 192.168.100.0 f.e., and mask or bit count, 255.255.255.0 … /24 f.e. )
