Local ipfire DHCP

Hello,

I try to install ipfire in my local network (no internet box) because I m interesting by DHCP. for link for my NAS and server.

I have internet by my phone with wifi.

I read documentation in ipfire website and when i restart my PC it’s don’t work.

I would like to install ipfire without internet and just have access to my local network.

Can you explain how make.

Phone WIFI ---- PC ipfire ---- Switch ----- NAS/server

IPFire is a firewall, not just a DHCP server.
It will not work—or will work very poorly—without Internet access.
In your case, you should install a Wi-Fi access point with DHCP instead.
