I’ve changed wiki entry for DNS0.EU to not filtered open service and moved basic service entry to not recomended so it will be in line with filtering part of wiki.
Added also Control D unfiltered service and removed TCP/UDP entries from censurfridns. Cleartext DNS Turned Off - uncensoreddns blog
Feel free to change them anytime if it’s necessary.

This tool has just a little disadvantage. It is a Windows only tool, must be run on a local client. For IPFire networks which force DNS requests to the IPFire unbound server it is useless. The free version does no DNSSEC check, which is needed for IPFire.
It is not Windows only. It runs in WINE:

I will say, if you have a Firewall Rule for redirecting DNS to IPFire, you will want to temporarily disable that rule before running the benchmark.
I’m surprised no one has made a newer one since the thing has been around for decades.
This has been out for about 15 years. It was freeware all this time with over 9 million downloads. Anyhow, it’s cool that he’s updating it, and giving different performance tiers: Free, $10, and $20.
