Is it possible to update a default block list on URL filter?

Hello,

I know that I can create a custom block-list(and I did). But I want to know if is it possible to update the default’s.
I have removed the ip 192.168.1.1 that was in the file
/var/ipfire/urlfilter/blacklists/porn/domains but then I saw that it still didn’t let me access this ip via web, it kept saying that this ip was being filtered as porn. Since I guess the url filter uses these blocklists, then using the hexdump command in the domains.db file the ip was still there. I think it has not been removed, but I can’t modify it because it is a Berkley DB file and it is not installed and I can’t install packages with ipfire.

Is there any solution or just create my own blocklists or edit the domains.db file from another machine and import it?

Thanks

User ip,

I can confirm that 192.168.1.1 is inside the domains file in the “Pron blacklist”

that is odd, but I see it was compiled 2004.04.16 03:48:09

That’s a lot of moons ago .

I tried accessing 192.168.1.1 and I got "access denied "

After I created custom Whitelist, and reloading with CTRL + F5 (clear cache)
the access denied message disapeared,
