IPsec tunnel up but not working?

I just set up a net-to-net IPsec tunnel.
Far side says tunnel is up.
IPfire Services->IPsec says tunnel is up

ipsec status on IPfire CLI says it is “ROUTED, TUNNEL, ESTABLISHED, INSTALLED”

but the remote network doesnt show up in “ip route” and there is no “tun” device… and I cant get ping traffic to go through the tunnel.

What am I missing here?

do you have ipfire on both ends of the net-to-net VPN?

The other end is OPNsense
