Hello everyone, I have figured out why Certificate Based Connections were experiencing connectivity issues; considering the many of our certificate based users were using Android systems, we discovered that many of the Androids were using the “recommended Private DNS” functionality under the Connections setting section. Once this was turned off, all DNS resolution came back and our certificates can be used again.
Not sure if this is something that could be improved in the next release of IPFire but figured we would share our discovery
