We cannot get ipfire to work with the eero 6 (read junk). we can see the fibre and the dns is correct. the connection profile has the password and user name. with the eero in bridge or normal, same problem. the old router was bridged.

If you connect a PC directly to the router in normal mode, does that give Internet connectivity ?
If so, then setting red0 on IPFire to dhcp should also work, as a starting point.

We ditched them and went back to spark. There “technical” people have zero knowledge of firewalls and security in general. Spark, plugged it in and away we went.
