Hello and good day everyone,
today we would like to share some exciting news with you: one of our collaborators will be attending RomHack Camp 2026 in Rome, one of the longest-running and most respected events in the Italian cybersecurity and hacker culture scene.
During the event, he will give a talk focused on IPFire, a project that has become well known over the years for its reliability, security, and strong open-source philosophy. At the moment, we do not yet have all the organizational details, such as the exact date of the presentation, especially since RomHack Camp spans three full days packed with activities, workshops, and networking opportunities. As soon as we receive more information, we will be happy to share it with you.
We are truly excited about this opportunity, not only because of the visibility it brings, but also because of the unique value of the event itself. RomHack Camp is far from the typical conference held in a formal meeting room where a speaker talks and the audience passively listens. Instead, it is an open, dynamic, and highly engaging environment where conversations and knowledge sharing happen naturally among people who share the same passion for technology and cybersecurity.
This is exactly what makes the event so special. In just a few moments, you may find yourself casually discussing ideas over a coffee with the CEO of a major software company, security researchers, cybersecurity professionals, or even officials responsible for national cybersecurity initiatives within institutions such as the Ministry of the Interior. It is a unique atmosphere built around direct interaction, the exchange of experiences, and genuine discussions, where some of the most valuable conversations often happen away from the main stage.
For us, being part of an event of this caliber is both a great honor and a confirmation of the commitment and passion we put into our work every single day. We look forward to sharing more details about the talk and the event schedule with you soon.
