I have a cisco asa 5506X at home connecting via ipsec to a central ASA. Because the asa has a dynamic public ip I use the crypto isakmp identity key-id <tunnel-group_name> to select the right tunnel group on the central ASA side to avoid a tunnel-group with fixed ip address…
So far so good this is working.
I want to replace now the 5506X asa with ipfire.
So my question: is there a possiblity to configure the isakmp identiy via a key-id in the ipsec.conf on the ipfire box somehow?
