Hi,
Im trying to open up an ftp server to the outside world.
The server works fine when using its 192.168.0.x addr so I think the problem is with the firewall rules.
I setup a rule to Allow from any network
I tried with both NAT and without.
Set the destination addr
Protocol TCP Dest port 21
In filezilla, I’ve tried Active , Default and Passive.
Filezilla reports
Status: | Connecting to xxxxxx:21… |
---|---|
Status: | Connection established, waiting for welcome message… |
Status: | Initializing TLS… |
Status: | Verifying certificate… |
Status: | TLS connection established. |
Status: | Logged in |
Status: | Retrieving directory listing… |
Status: | Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead. |
Command: | MLSD |
Error: | The data connection could not be established: ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server |
Error: | Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity |
Error: | Failed to retrieve directory listing |
Status: | Disconnected from server |
I’m not very good withh firewalls so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff
