Improve entropy with PRG310 Hardware RNG on APU1D

Since Core 169 the rngd poolsize of the kernel is only 256 bits and the graph under “Status->Entropy” was removed (see post below):

I’ve upgraded to Core 169 today without any issues so far. I have noticed that the amount of Entropy has decreased quite a lot since the upgrade. Is this expected or a bug? [Screenshot from 2022-06-28 23-20-51]

So you should change the watermark to 256 ( see 8. )

8. The Solution

rngd has a configuration option --fill-watermark. The default setting is 2048 bits. This means that rngd fills a maximum of 2048 bits to the entropy pool which has usually a size of 4096 bits
