IBM Aspera Connect - unable to download or upload

Hello everyone,

First of all thank you for your time and patience.

I have a firewall solution from IPFire, version: IPFire 2.25 (x86_64) - Core Update 152.

After reading the FAQ from IBM ( https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/746389 ) I understood that I need to open the ports 22 (TCP) and 33001 to 33100 (UDP) in order to download or upload any thing to IBM Aspera.

Inside IPFire in the “Firewall Rules” I tried lots of approaches even the drastic one:

  • Source -> Standard networks -> Any;
  • Destination -> Standard networks -> Any;
  • Protocol -> All;
  • Accept.

Any machine under the firewall can’t download nor upload any file. All other machine out side the firewall (same ISP router) can download and upload files.

Of course I’m doing something really wrong. Help?
