How to automate a regular restart of the WAN connection

hello,

i’am new to ipfire and i use it to replace my old router with a VDSL connection. Everything works well so far, but unlike my old router the connection is not renewed every 24 hours by ipfire. For this reason the IP address assigned by the ISP remains permanently unchanged. To work around this, I would like to restart the WAN connection (or the whole system) every 24 hours. Is there a way to automate this restart? Unfortunately, the GUI does not offer this possibility.

Try Connection Scheduler in Network menu. There you have several options.
