Can Anyone Help how to fix this?
Have you pressed ‘Refresh List’?
Any entries in ‘Logs–>System Logs’ section ‘Pakfire’?
You are on CU194 and using the Stable Repository, so it won’t show any updates until CU195 is released.
But the lines about list updates should contain much shorter time spans.
The time of last update is set epoch 0, I suppose. 20244 days before today is some day in 1970, the start of the Unix epoch midnight 1/1/1970.
Therefore a refresh list should correct this.
Available addons should also be populated.
Fist check the system time because with an incorrect time dns and als pakfire signature checks will not work.
Second check dns and if an https connection is working.
Screen Record We tried Everything that you suggested and it still not working as you can see on the vid
The video doesn’t show the state of the DNS server. Without name resolution you cannot get the package information. See www.ipfire.org - Pakfire troubleshooting
BTW: a video isn’t really helpful for analysis by others.
Textual logs of the update process ( as displayed in Logs–>system logs, chapter Pakfire ) and a description of the network config and DNS config in text or as screenshot can be read much more easy.
The interesting config is ‘Network–>Domain Name System’.
Can you browse any sites?
This thread may help also.
This is very important
A working DNS system
Add more than 1
Would recommend DoT
Make sure you NTP is setup
Or TLS connections will not work.
Your time looks ok.
From the picture.
Hi new here, I changed my host and domain name and pakfire gave me 500 error messages and referred to the previous host name in the error message.
Since I am starting out, I wiped the hard drive and installed ipfire again.
