Heads-up for DNS server censurfridns.dk on ports 53,5353

For those who use censurfridns.dk DNS service on ports 53 and 5353 only:

Here is a summary of the announcement:

Standard UDP and TCP DNS traffic on port 53 (and also service on port 5353) will be permanently disabled in almost 6 months, 1 September 2022. Encrypted traffic will continue to work.

The reason for this major change is :

  1. I would like as much as possible to use the encrypted and authenticated DNS protocols and

  2. I am tired fighting against UDP amplification attacks.
