Fresh install dhcpd no such file or directory

i will reinstall with ipfire and post pictures of the set slash options ive picked

you don’t need to: put into the console ‘setup’ to restart the setup routine again

Why reinstall? You should know what you’ve done till now.

Perhaps you can have a look at the dhcpd.conf under /var/ipfire/dhcp/ and check if there is something wrong. I had a similar problem when i didn’t enter the whole IP to start and end of the DHCP range.

With this config the dhcp range is outside of the green network if the netmask is /24 (255.255.255.0)

This is no problem. IPFire tries to remove a non existing default route. (We cannot remove this line because it is needed in some cases.)

Change the green IP and network with the setup or the dhcp start and end address with elinks.
And also avoid using 192.168.1.x if this is your red network.
red, green and blue has to be different subnets.

Here is my personal list of networks that should not used because many other devices use it:
192.168.0.x/24 (Many ISP Router)
192.168.1.x/24 (Many ISP Router)
192.168.42.x/24 (Android USB tether)
192.168.43.x/24 (Android Wlan tether)
192.168.100.x/24 (Many ISP Router)
192.168.178.x/24 (AVM Fritzbox first)
192.168.179.x/24 (AVM Fritzbox second)
