[Feature Request] ipmitool

I don’t know how many IPFire admins do run their firewall on hardware with an IPMI BMC, but I would like to have “ipmitool” as an add-on to monitor/control temperature, fan speed thresholds and other stuff directly from within IPFire on a Supermicro board and not over the network using clear-text passwords etc. In this case “ipmitool” would be based on an OpenIPMI kernel driver.

with ipmi 3 or newer you can use https on supermicro’s ipm.

I know I can use a browser to view and configure Supermicro’s IPMI BMC but I was referring to a CLI tool like “ipmitool” so that I can use its output in scripting solutions.
