Today, when attempting a search from Brave using duckduckgo, I receive this message: duckduckgo.com unexpectedly closed the connection.
DuckDuckGo works fine from Firefox and Google works fine from Brave.
Not sure if this is a Proxy issue or a DuckDuckGo issue.
On further reflection, I think this is a DDG issue.
I edited my launchers and put “–proxy-auto-detect” after the command. As an example “chromium --proxy-auto-detect %U”. That solved my proxy issues. It may possibly help with yours. Try it and if it does’t work just remove it. Best wishes.
