I have been trying to download an ISO file from several mirrors but they all fail after downloading 7 GB of an 8 GB ISO. I tried downloading on another users network and it worked fine. The only difference was they did not use IPFire. Is there a parameter I am missing? Their firewall was IPCop, which they are looking to replace.
Thanks

Hi Edwin - Welcome to the IPFire Community!
What happens when you download a BIG file from another location. Does it still fail near 7GB?
Maybe try downloading from here:

Also tries wget. Worked for an ISO file of 6 GB but the ISO files for Centos 8 are larger than 8 GB. They even fail when I try wget -c.

FYI. I’ve tried the great 10GB file from hetzner. No problems.
Any messages, when download stops?
