The solution to the problem is reboot machine or restart service:
[root@ipfire ~]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/unbound restart

I changed the DNS settings. I looked at the state of the RAM and CPU.

I see that the service is stopping, but I don’t understand why. It keeps happening.
What else can I see?

The error messages show, that the DNS servers are not reachable.
Do you have problems with your WAN ( red ) connection at this times?

I don’t see any records of internet problems

And usually when this happens I go to the main page and see the status that the connection has been established for a long time
Status [INTERNET] RED Connected - (2d 2h 20m 56s)

Have you or anyone else on the network noticed any actual internet outages that correlate with these times? Also check the Gateway Graph for any gaps that might indicate loss of connectivity to the ISP (even if it’s only for a moment).

Hi.

Have you tried UDP?.

Google Public DNS primarily uses UDP for standard queries, as it is faster and more efficient for most DNS lookups. However, it can also use TCP in certain situations, such as when the response size exceeds the typical UDP limit or when using DNS-over-TLS, which encrypts DNS queries for better security.

Bye.

It happened again today. The service DNS stopped working.
