Did anyone test the QR Code?

Hi there,
WireGuard is working great on any of my Devices, Performance is awsome! A thousand Thanks to the whole Team for realizing. The only Thing what i can’t get working is the Client configuration by QR Code, regardless what Device or App i try. Import by Textfile is no Problem. Did anyone face the same Problem and got a hint for me?
Thank you in advance,
Psyops

I used the qr code with my android phone and it worked very well. Much easier than having to manually enter the data.

I also tested the qr code during the cu195 testing phase and also in Sep 2024 during the development phase.
It worked without any hiccups at all of those stages.

What error messages are you getting and which client(s) are you using for the qr code.

Hi Olaf

By any chance are you trying to scan the QR code using your phone’s camera app?

The QR code should be scanned using the WireGuard app, not with your phone’s camera app.

Hope this helps.

Of course i didn’t use the Standalone Scanner App. I tried several Wireguard Client Apps, e.g. Wireguard or WG-Tunnel.
In the Meantime i tried to scan from different Displays, and it seems that HD-Resolution (1920 x 1080) on a 24" Display is not suitable. When i scan the QR-Code with my Phone from the Tablet-Display, it works. I will try it again with a smaller Browser-Window, maybe that helps.
Thanks to all, i will mark this Thread as closed (if it is possible).

A little trick for pc users - you press and hold the ctrl key while spinning the mouse wheel to zoom in or out of the page view.
