Core Update 188 ncat vs. nmap

Hi,

I think, there went something wrong with the ncat 7.95 Update. Perhaps a confusion with the nmap package.

I can’t connect to my libvrt-vm via vm-manager from my ubuntu-client:
Encountered SPICE error-link SSH Tunnel Fehlerausgabe: sh: line 1: nc: command not found

When I try “nc” or “/usr/bin/nc” or “/usr/bin/ncat” I got
-bash: nc: command not found

My apologies but unfortunately yes it looks like I made an error and made the ncat rootfile the same as the nmap rootfile.

I am working with @ms to find out how this error can be fixed in CU188.

The ncat package will be reverted and a rebuild done. Once that is completed then I will inform on this thread.

top! thx for your work. I appreciate this very much.

I just pushed the package to the mirrors. It will probably take a little while until it appears, but it should be soon as an update to install.
