This morning I needed to connect with my GSM to my IpFire server with ssh.
I usually use ConnectBot on Android from F-Droid to remotely connect to ssh.
The connection worked fine: I can see some text up to authentication but once authenticated, I have a black screen. And when I type, nothing happens.
Is there a parameter to set in connect bot or something to configure on tty on IpFire ?
Probably the TERM is not supported by ConnectBot, not sure.
Any idea ? Can you run the same test ?

did a try with ConnectBot but got stuck already by accepting the fingerprint. Have here currently Termius which delivers beneath an SSH client also SFPT and some other functions. The non commercial version does have enough features for my needs, don´t know if it is OK for you…
You can´t get it via F-Droid but via Aurora Store .

I tried Termius as suggested. It went better than with ConnectBot.
I could see the prompt and type commands, but when I type ls I see LS in the terminal. So I have trouble to enter a correct command. Even if the keyboard is lowercase. Don’t know where the problem is
Interesting but i have no clue what´s happening on your device (which one?)… may turn off the auto-capitalization ? Does show your keyboard on Termius upper or lower letters ? Which settings did you use while you create the connection ? Which entry method are chosen (in the right corner at the bottom) ?
Here it worked out of the box also with auto-completion but it uses also ZSH which i do also use (self build) on IPFire ?
Some ideas but with no plan (lack of information) what the problem could be in your case…
