I try to set up a wireguard vpn connection from home (macbook) to office (ipfire, proxmox).
not shure about dns server in configration…

Hi Greg.
It can be either a public or private IP address.
But for privacy you’ll probably want to set IPFire’s DNS server to DoT, then point the client to your IPFire’s Green DNS server.

Thanks. I choosed the green IP address. Think that’s a good way to go.
Works much better than OpenVPN and it’s very fast.
What I realized, that if you take for the allowed subnets the green one, you don’t have access to the other ones. Even if you have a roule that says the greens can go everywhere. If you want to go to red and orange you must choose 0.0.0.0/0.
