Hi there,

If this is a BUG, have you posted it in bugzilla?
Hi,
having re-written the OpenSSH configuration in IPFire a while ago, I do not consider this to be a good idea. Usually, you do not need TCP forwarding over SSH on a firewall, unless you use it as a jump host or something similar.
Because of this, it is disabled by default.
Could you please provide us more details about why you think this should be enabled by default?
Thanks, and best regards,
Peter MĂĽller
Hi Peter,
I didn’t mean enabling it by default. Just let it work as expected when you enable the function “Allow TCP forwarding” in the web-UI.
Hi,
I see, thanks for clarifying this.
Could you please open an issue for this at https://bugzilla.ipfire.org/ (your login credentials work there as well) so we can track this? Please post the number of the created ticket here for reference.
Thanks, and best regards,
Peter MĂĽller
