Beginner on IPFire, setting up web filtering

Hello everyone, I’m a beginner with IPFire. I’ve installed the latest version and I’m trying to set up web filtering for a library that’s open to the public. I can filter when I configure the proxy on my own computer, but in my case, it’s impossible. I’ve tried to understand how it works with WPAD in DHCP, but I’m getting nowhere! Is there a step-by-step tutorial for the installation? Is there French support available? I’m willing to make a donation if someone can configure it for my needs! Thanks everyone, it’s a great project!

Hi Stefan, sorry, it’s done now

For WPAD to work, you must at least configure the automatic proxy on the clients.
And if you really want to prevent clients from bypassing the proxy, you must close the HTTP and HTTPS ports on the firewall.
There’s no easy way to do this, and it won’t really be possible on public Wi-Fi with mobile devices.
Use secure DNS services like Cloudflare Family or wait for version CU200 with IPFire DBL.
